Hall of Fame - Names and Facts

Poker is a game that puts your mind in action and exercises your skill. This game is not like other games that you can find in online and land-base casino that depends on luck. Thor Hansen – Famous Poker Player

One of these best players is Thor Hansen and he started his poker gambling in late 1980’s. He already won 175 tournaments raking more than $2.9 million in his career history. He won 2 WSOP gold bracelets during 1988 and 2002 and he also appeared at HORSE final table and won $50,000 at WSOP in the year 2007. Hansen is known as “Godfather” of Norwegian poker. He is also a popular supporter of European poker scene. Hansen at the age of 65 is a successful cash game player that was backed by Larry Flynt so they can play for high stakes cash poker game during 1990.

George Hardie – the One Who Beat the Poker

The next one is George Hardie. He is not a poker player, but he has made a remarkable spot in the world of poker. The poker explosion that has happened in 1980 was the point wherein poker experienced major growth. Hardies introduce Bicycle Casino which is a huge card club. During that time Hardie introduced new set of rules, events and guarantees that made that property as one of the world’s card capital. His involvements have made the poker industry even better.

Jennifer Harman-Traniello – Women Also Play Poker

Jennifer Harman-Traniello won $2.6 million in 2 WPT final tables and 12 WSOP final tables. She is also the very first woman who won multiple WSOP bracelets. The skills she showed in different tournaments made an impressive mark in poker industry. She is the only woman that played poker in high stakes. Jennifer is already a mother and she devoted her time to raise money for charity institutions like Nevada Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and National Kidney Foundation.

These poker players perform different roles in poker industry, but each one of them has been blessed with skills and talent to share to the world. Actually, aside from these three famous poker legends, there is 7 other hall of famers included in the list of top ten Poker Hall of Fame.
